The Source Of My Anger

Question: To Whom It May Concern,

Hello, my family has been Sprint customers for going on 9 years. Recently I purchased a Blackberry Curve 8330 from your Laurel, MD Sprint Store and it malfunctioned 6 months into my purchase. It was a hardware failure and most importantly a warranty failure. The phone malfunctioned Novemer 6th. This isnt Sprints problem but I work two jobs and am in college so I dont have the most flexible schedule in the world, again NOT Sprints problem. I took my phone to be repaired November 7th when the representatives in the store told me to return in 45 minutes. I returned an hour and a half later and was told my phone was still being repaired. I had to work that evening so I came the next day, a Sunday November 8th. I was told a new phone was ordered for me and it will be at the store for pick up within 3 days. So I was sold a malfunctioned phone and I have to come back to your store to pick up, most likely, a refurbished phone. Again, I have a tight schedule . . again not your problem. What is Sprints problem, is no one told me I had to return within 7 days to receive my phone or it would be sent back. The next available time I had was Monday evening, November 16th, where I was told the phone was sent back because I never came to receive it. I was told the phone was ordered that evening and would be in the store Wednesday, November 18th. Today is the November 18th, and I am still without a replaced Blackberry. As a matter of fact, I was told the phone WAS at the store Monday evening and would have to ordered tonight and I would be without my phone until next Monday evening, November 23rd. I called customer service and spoke with a manager who was of no help at all. He basically told me the same thing the customer rep said to me in store. I didn't receive an apology for miscommunication from this "supervisor" with the Sprint company. After nine years of service I would think I'd get better customer service. I know people have off days and make mistakes, but this has been a mistake since November 8th until probably November 23rd, unless something happens where I didn't come in time for the phone again. Unfortunately for me I have a busy life and strict schedule, I've said it's not your problem and it isn't. But it soon will be a problem for Sprint because i'm contemplating signing with Verizon. A close friend and his mother are Blackberry owners with Verizon and their phones malfunctioned but they received them viz next day air from Fed Ex at their home. I understand Sprint is Sprint and Verizon is Verizon but you all could take a page from their book. If I do not have my phone on the evening of November 23, 2009, I will be signed with Verizon, November 24th. I'm looking forward to your reply.

From,
An Unfortunate Sprint Customer

Follow Her!!

This is an order,
Frank

Who's me?

Flimsy jeans w/ holes at the knee
chuck taylors and a wrinkled white tee
a human being so undefined
who in the world could this be?
everybody's wondering
but no one can see
this little dread head girl
yea..
that's me
she's wherever she wants to be
walking down the streets
head's in the clouds
filled w/humility
never too proud
take a look a little deeper
and maybe you'll see
just what it means
to say "I'm me"
design my own rules
walk hard in my shoes
making it impossible for you
to do what I do
do.. do.. do.. do...

Quick . . To The Point

In order for me to live the way I want, I need to attack my motto, stay determined, and my personality . . which i've been hiding for a year now. I must realize the world does not revolve around me.

"You can dislike people without being a dickhead to them . . you don't have to invite them to your house or anything, but you can be nice to them at least." - Zack

I can be social but that doesn't mean i'm an open book . . I'm like a bestseller that's been wrapped. You got to put work in to figure Frank out. haha.

I decided I needed to have cornerstones in my life, I don't have any now. Here's a few I started with

I have a great personality
I don't have to be cold
I dislike a handful of people but kill them with kindness
I work hard for no glory
Run my race
Be real with myself

Really no point behind this blog, just something to put on paper and now the web.

Here's to building

Run Your Race

I heard that in that movie with Chris Rock when he was running for President. His girl told him (to paraphrase), "fuck everyone else and run your race. Stop listening to everyone or planning gimmicks . . Just run your race. Concentrate on winning by concentrating on you . . Cuz looking to see who's with you will break your concentration."

So that's my motto for now . . Run Your Race. Run it strong too . . Don't waste time/concentration to see what everone else is doing or how close they are to you in the race.

See ya at the finish line,

Words From The Heart Spoken From Someone Else

If you see or hear goodness from me, then that goodness is from The Creator. You should be thankful to The Creator for all of that. Cuz i'm not the archetect of that . . i'm only the receipient. If you see weakness or shortcoming from me, it's from my own weakness and shortcoming and I ask and fear the people to forgive me from that. - Mos Def

Thank you all,

My Heart Won't Get My Mind Back But My Mind Can Get My Heart Back

Lifesaver asked, "Do you need to talk about it?" I replied . . . "I'll be fine. I'll never let anyone into my head. Have my heart all you want . . . " Now I have a heart . . I'm not a Scrooge or anything, but anyone can run my heart through the grinder. I've bounced back . . . this young body has mad miles on it. I've been through plenty . . . I almost built an immunity to heartbreak, believe it or not. There are times when I should be emotionally crushed but I'm not. I'm furious . . . at myself. For the most part I can read and react towards someones actions. I'll make mental mistakes and let someone get better footing than me on this uphill climb called life. That asshole will look down on me and show their true colors . . cut the rope and let me fall.

That isn't true for everybody but the few times it has happened to me that's how it went down. So excuse me for feeling the way I do but also understand where I'm coming from. The truth is, my feelings are mad sensitive. I can pour my heart into something but I know when to stop pouring . . lot of people can't do that. Scratching the surface of my feelings is like having teeth tied to the end of a horse and scaring the shit out of it. I don't want anyone in my business so I keep a straight face and cool composure most of the time. Gimme a few days of thinking and writing and I'm better. Better because I've seen another scheme someone pulled on me and won't be tricked twice.

Stay Hungry For Humble Pie

Soo . . I wrote this one day and I dunno why. I took a hit . . put on some tunes and this was the first thing to come to mind when I began writing . . Enjoy

There's a small window opening when it comes to success. It starts with a slight buzz; people mention you here and there. Then you get underground, or organic buzz as I like to call it. The real recognize the real hard work you're putting into your craft. Then the people you've been yearning to notice you, finally do and you're finally successful. Good Job! Pat yourself on the back, go get fucked up with your friends . . . You finally get what you've wanted and your hunger is satisfied.

"So sour is the limelight . . . " - Charles Hamilton

Once you get what you've wanted the bar for success if much higher. Now you have to maintain that level while EVERYONE's watching. It's a muhfucka . . . especially if your progress was watched from the ground up. When your hand waivers, someone's there to remind you, "Don't slip." I don't mean that literally . . like we all have assholes in our lives who love to rub failures in our face (haters i think they're called?). We can call those assholes "unfortunate situations." Bills you forgot to pay, upcoming birthdays you forgot, car problems, kids get sick . . the asshole you know will call you out during ALL of those situations. Is success all it's cracked up to be? Then you aren't even hungry anymore . . you're full but what's next?

There's nothing like that grind . . . I grew up so much this past year but deep down I feel I haven't grown at all. My main goal was to grasp control of my money, maintain this relationship, and rebuild my character. I've done well . . still working on some goals . . but as I get closer to the end . . I'm like, what now?

Money changes people. My changes were unintentional, nothing major to the public eye, but they hurt my soul. Those changes aren't qualities of Frank or StonerCharm . . smh . . no bueno. I've never displayed any of the changes, they would come up during my "unfortunate situations" . . . like I've been getting jealous or people . . for fucking what, dude? I don't even know why, I cannot answer that question. When I was hungry . . I wouldn't pay dumb shit like jealous or "he say, she say" any attention. That's a serious flaw . . and it will be changed.

To sum this up . . stay hungry for humble pie, but don't overeat. I recently humbled the shit out of myself. There were some situations previously which I should have taken control at the beginning like a former shadow of myself would have. Instead I let them happen and be three times as angry with myself but keep a cool composure. I will be more direct using my fury to power my message . . . coward beat around the bush and I. Will. Not. Be. A. Fucking. Coward.

No Room For Doubt, Cowards Days are over,
